| 2004--Kathy
Graves
Here is Ms. Volly 2004 being congradulated by her brother Erik. Her award, a handsome silver platter beautifully engraved by APVA resident artisan, Steve Laughbaum, is in the vault at Citibank with her many other valuables. Faithful and true, Kathy richly deserves this token of our esteem and fondness. |

| 2003--Mei Hu
Mei (pronounced May) works at Vanderbilt and stopped to play one day on her way home. In May this year (2004) she returns to China to be reunited with her family. While we know she misses them and rejoice with her at the reunion, it will be a sad day for all of us. Thanks, Mei, for your quiet and effective play and your cheerful spirit. You are an inspiration to us all and we won't forget you. |
2002--Jeannine
Hopson
If ever there was the epitome of "Good Sport," "True Grit," and "Team Player," Jeannine is it. The tasteful awards by team artist in residence, Steve Laughbaum, were never more richly deserved. Shown with Susan Wallace, Ms. Volley 2001, who made
the presentation.

| 2001--Susan Wallace
The 2001 award was presented to Susan Wallace. She won it by her grit and determination and by her faithful attendance. She was also in line for Most Improved, but we thought MV 2001 said it all. Shown with Awards Chairman Mark Morrison. |
2000--Betsy
Gerlach
Winner for the year 2000 was Betsy Gerlach who hung in there through thick and thin. Congratulations, Betts, on your recent wedding! Shown above with Equiptment Manager S. Laughbaum. |

| 1999--Terri
Argubright-Anthony
The second award was to Terri Argubright-Anthony for the year 1999. She dominated the game until she and Blake moved to Texas last winter (2000). Shown in her other incarnation as Crista Nicole, since she won't send us a blinkin' photo! |
1997?--Eliabeth
Aune
The coveted Ms. Volley Award was first presented to Elizabeth Aune, shown here with her parents, Lisa and Mark, in 1995 or 1997 or something like that.

There seems to be some sort of matrimonial hex on this award. Five of the six recipients were single when they began to play and now two of those have ended up married! Research is underway at the highest levels. More on this later!
