Here are just a view of the pictures that I took while in Thurso April 2004

Memories....

I took the sign off the wall and carried it back over with my as check in luggage..
How cool is that.

There was no power to the building a company has bought the base and is turning it
into a business park. I got a tour the next day from one of the guys. He gave me the sign.
TC is trashed and there fixing to do the comm. building in about 2 months (fix it up)

The gym floor is trashed. They don't know if they are going to leave it as a gym or make it
into more offices.. There looking at the Gym bit and leaving the floor as memories of all
the US sailors who once served there.. How cool.

Do you remember Eric. He worked in the kitchen and during the war he brought us
soup and doughnuts @ 0200.  He misses the Americans alot he said and told me to tell
everyone he said hi.

in the club. it's a lunch hall now.

This was one of the rooms that I stayed in. I had three of them while I was there until
moving out into the town.
